Little Blessing Series

Somewhere in New England lies the tiny artists’ colony of Little Blessing. Conveniently reached by ferry, it is the place to go for fun and sun in the summertime, especially if one needs privacy and happens to be artsy or eccentric.

When it was time to name the streets, the Puritans who settled in Little Blessing in 1648 sought no further than "The Good Book" for inspiration. They dubbed the main thoroughfares after the Seven Virtues, except for Gluttony Road, of course. That unholy street was reserved for the town outcasts, the sinners who wasted their nights drinking ale and playing poker at Gluttony Tavern.

Centuries later, the town's only shopping district is located on Charity Street, across from beautiful Moonwater Beach and the Seashell Carousel. Businesses include The Good Book Tea Room, Holy Cow Sundaes, Blessed Coffee and Bakery, Sunday Best Clothing Store, Vanity Hair Salon, and Hallelujah House.

The Little Blessing Series debuted in 2018 with Inn Lak'ech: A Journey to the Realm of Oneness, which introduced teenage protagonist Elm Sunday. The prequel, Seaglass Christmas: A Little Blessing Mystery, was published in 2019. Moonwater Beach is the story of Elm's indigenous best friend, Snow Whitedove Smith, scheduled for release in 2022.
