As the daughter of a Native father and Puritan mother, veterinary assistant Snow has lived in two conflicting worlds her entire life. While the death of her best friend sends her into a tailspin of anger and grief, it also leads to a healing retreat in Arizona and the realization of a longtime dream to become a water guardian.

 

Now her heart and third eye are wide open, thanks to the sacred wisdom she receives from her shaman aunt, a caring park ranger, and a mystery school in the desert.

 

Snow returns home as an environmental activist, determined to step up and be the Light her town so desperately needs—even if that means she must collaborate with a mischievous water being!
